Professional Baby Portraits

Are you looking to capture unique and lasting memories of you newborn? Your baby changes so much in the first year. Having professional baby portraits taken is a great way to capture those precious moments. I understand that baby portraits are a big deal and choosing the right photographer is too.

What to expect in a baby portrait session.

A phone consultation will take place or we can set up a sit down consultation if you prefer. We will discuss how you want the shoot to go so that there are no surprises. The sessions will last about an hour to an hour and a half.

When should I have my baby's portraits taken?

Newborn to three-months
A newborn session is a great time to focus on the details of your baby and the bond between mom, dad and baby. Parents should have black long sleeve clothing. You can have your baby bare, in a diaper or in a small outfit.
Six months
This is a time to show your baby's independence. Your child should be sitting independently for this. Clothing should be diaper covers, overalls, dresses or solid colored outfits.
One year
What a great time to get the personality of your baby. Formal or casual clothing is good for this session. Clothing should be overalls, jeans and plain shirt, slip dresses or all dressed up.
